Version 2.4

(2023-03-22)
What's New

  1. Consumer UI Templates: Users can now select and apply various user-flow templates to their Privacy Center experience. Visit our documentation portal to learn more.
  2. “Consent First:” Our newest template condenses the overall Consumer UI flow into fewer pages and clicks, reducing friction and speeding the user’s journey through a given privacy experience. This optional flow is now available, but no current CUI implementations have been changed; our original flow, “Welcome First,” remains the default. Visit our documentation portal to learn more.
  3. Admin UX Improvement: Users are now warned of unsaved changes anytime they attempt to navigate away from the Consumer UI Styling page before saving their changes.
  4. Consent Profile UI: Added the ability to apply date range filtering.
  5. Verification Service Controls: reCAPTCHA can now be enabled or disabled upon request in the Consumer UI. By default, reCAPTCHA is enabled (for Pro and Enterprise accounts only).
  6. Consent Profile: Conflict resolution for Consent Profiles has undergone a logical change to limit conflict resolution to only occur with the most recent choices.
  7. Help and Support: Added a link on the left hand navigation to UPCP documentation.

Fixed Issues

  1. Navigation: Consumers are now automatically scrolled to the top of the screen when navigating to a new page in CUI.
  2. Security: A security patch was applied in the Consumer UI for the login action.
  3. Minor bug fixes.

Version 2.3

(2023-02-28)

Important Note

  1. For customers using the Consumer UI embedded solution, this release requires each brand to define the iFrame whitelisted domain in the Embedded solutions configuration section of the Consumer UI Styling Configuration. See Compatibility and Configuration below for more details.

What's New

  1. Domain Validation: A new security feature has been added to make sure the website you are visiting is the one listed on the admin page. A few critical changes are required by your team to prevent breaking functionality. A WireWheel representative will be reaching out to you soon to support you in making these changes and answer any questions you may have.
  2. UPCP Integrations: S3 File Format: When using the Integrations feature of UPCP, the recipe starts by looking for files in an S3 bucket. The format of those files have changed to be a well-formed JSON array. Previously the file contained one subject's consents per line. Since this change impacts the UPCP integrations engine, existing Integrations will need to be updated to consume the new format. A WireWheel representative will be reaching out to you soon to support you in making these changes and answer any questions you may have.
  3. User Administration: Administrators can now assign permissions to users more granularly through an updated user interface.
  4. Brand and Channel Management Page Defaults: The default settings for brands and channels have been set to show only the active ones. Hidden channels and brands can be viewed via the ‘Status‘ toggle.
  5. Consent Profiles Updated Functionality: The ‘Consent Profiles’ page will now display a list of recent consents by default. You can also now search consents by ‘IP Address’ and ‘User Agent’ in addition to the existing option of ‘Email Address’.
  6. User Management Modals: A new feature has been added to make it easier to disable or restore user accounts in the system.
  7. Users are now allowed to have their email address associated to more than one domain.

Fixed Issues

  1. Minor bug fixes.
