The Dashboard Users and Permissions refer to the users of the dashboard. Users of this type are different from API users. A dashboard user's permissions determine what programs they can run.

How to Create a User

When you add a user, you add users and assign user roles.

1. Navigate to the Dashboard and select Users.

2. Click Add User +.

3. Enter the First name, Last name, Email, and User role.

Here are the Roles:

Activate Userid

The user receives this email shown below to activate their account:

1. Click Activate Okta Account.

Then they are prompted to create a password.

2. Enter new password.
3. Enter Repeat new password.

Disable User

To block a userid, select disable user. To disable a user means they cannot login.
